Hipps Contractors, Incorporated was founded in 2002 by father and son, Steve and Shane Hipps. Several generations of the Hipps’ family have worked in the home building industry. One of their great grandfathers operated a sawmill to supply lumber for homes in the Simpsonville area in the early 1900’s.

Steve and Shane have worked in construction as electrical contractors and are both licensed Master Electricians, with over 40 years combined experience.

While working on construction sites as electrical contractors, they observed the workmanship of various builders and trade partners. They used this knowledge to develop a plan and assembled a team to build top quality homes. They have seen the workmanship of many, and selected only the best to build their homes.
